Lansbury
Various activities and events are run from a number of venues on the Lansbury Estate. We recently refurbished Trussler Hall, which now has a gallery, office space and hall for hire. The Chinese elders luncheon club meet here four times a week.

The other venues are 5 Alton Street and Hind Grove Community Hall. There is a stay and play toy library for parents, carers and children at Hind Grove.

Community gardening project
If you have a keen interest in gardening, need some gardening advice or tips, if you want to volunteer your gardening services or if you need some help with your own garden, then come along to the Lansbury Gardening Club Thursday mornings from 10am - 12:30pm in the Hind Grove Community Hall, off Stainsby Road.
The Lansbury gardeners are a group of local people whose aim is to promote and develop gardening for all ages. With the aim of making our estates greener and more attractive places to live, and by promote fitness and well being through light exercise, increased social contact and raised awareness of healthy eating helping with the development of gardening skills and knowledge To share and foster the enjoyment and pleasure of gardening.
