Brownfield
There is a lot of development and refurbishment work going on that will transform the Brownfield Estate. Such as new homes and services, improved facilities and better green spaces.
We're calling this area regeneration programme Round Here. Because it's all about making 'round here an even better place to live and making sure that Brownfield benefits from the growth of the areas that surround it.
You can read about updates on all the projects on our website. We are continuing to work with the planning authority Tower Hamlets Council so dates may change.
We are passionate about making sure you have all the information you need about all the projects. And that you have opportunities to tell us what you think about the plans and the work.
We know the work will be disruptive for residents, but are convinced that Brownfield Estate and the local community will emerge stronger than ever. We're also planning community initiatives to take place alongside the physical work, which will celebrate the Brownfield community - past, present and future. This begins with the Brownfield Faces Round Here project, creating a photographic on-line community archive featuring faces of residents past & present, that can grow with the Brownfield community.
