Your responsibilities
The repairs team has a full list of what you are responsible for. Call them on 0800 035 1991
- internal doors and internal door handles. Locks and hinges (unless it’s a fire exit door)
- draught excluders to doors and windows
- external door furniture – hinges, weatherboard, letter plate, spy hole, lock changes because of lost keys
- WC seats and chains, plugs
- internal glazing, internal decorations and wall tiling (unless they are part of the splash back area behind sink, basin or bath)
- blocked kitchen sinks, toilets, wash hand basins and bath
We can organise to do the work for you, but we will charge for the work.
We will generally carry out this work for free if:
- members in the household are all over 70 or registered blind
- tenants who are registered blind
- the work is needed as a result of racial harassment or domestic violence.
