Service standards

This handbook tells you what we are going to do to continually improve services for you and would like you to continue to tell us how satisfied you are with services you reviewed in addition to any thing that you feel that we could do better for you. The service standards you will find in this handbook were developed with residents through events such as our resident's conference and resident's satisfaction surveys and will also be reviewed and monitored by residents to ensure that we do what we say we are going to do. We are always looking at new ways to get people involved in improving services through ways other than meetings. We appreciate that a lot of people would like the opportunity to get involved through informal ways including membership of our Sounding Board surveys, which allows you to tell us about specific areas that you would like to be more involved in. We want to work with you at all times to 'make Poplar the Place to be”, building upon successes including the Housing Corporation's Gold Award event and the good two star with promising prospects awarded by the Audit Commission January 2008. And also identify new regeneration and development opportunities to embrace the potential in and around the area.
