Community Hero Rufus Clarke gets invited to No 10
03 February 2010Congratulations to Poplar HARCA's Youth Work Co-ordinator Rufus Clarke.
Rufus was invited to No10 Downing Street by Prime Minister Gordon Brown to celebrate his outstanding contribution and commitment to the young people of Poplar.
MP Jim Fitzpatrick said: “It was a privilege to take Rufus to Downing Street if you speak to local people, they will tell you what a difference he has made to many young lives in Poplar.”
Steve Stride, Chief Executive at Poplar HARCA said, “I am delighted to see Rufus get this acknowledgement from the PM and our local MP. It is well deserved and once again highlights the high caliber of committed staff we have working for us at Poplar HARCA. Well done Rufus.”
