Osmani Health Expo 2012
05 January 2012The Health and wellbeing event of the year run by the Osmani Trust.
The Osmani Trust Health Expo 2012, a local, free health lifestyle and wellness event will be held on Thursday 9 February 2012 at the new Osmani Centre. Time: 10am to 2pm
The health expo will bring together professionals from the health and wellness industries, NHS and local community groups to encourage a lifestyle of health and wellbeing. Also local people can come and meet the local Health Trainers team to find out how to stay healthy.
The event includes
- recruitment to Health Trainers programme
- free NHS health checks (blood pressure)
- free Reflexology and head/neck massage
- free Shiatsu back massage
- healthy lifestyle advice
- Diabetes and Cholesterol advice
- community mental health advice
- alcohol and drugs misuse advice
- stop smoking
- basic first aid advice
- taster fitness and exercise classes
- fresh fruits and world foods taster display
