Home Choice - A dedicated housing service

Over 50 local residents and housing figures attended the opening of the new office and had an opportunity to meet the team and find out more about the services on offer.

The Home Choice office, formerly the Young Prince pub, is now home to a dedicated Housing Options Team where residents can drop in and get advice on re-housing, bidding, homeswaps, shared ownership schemes and other housing issues.

Audrey Sutherland Head of Housing Options at Poplar HARCA said: “We were delighted with the number of residents that turned up to the event. It was an opportunity for them to discuss their housing issues with us and to find out how we can help them. Home Choice was delivered after residents told us they preferred to talk to us face to face about their housing options.”

Well done to Mr Egboh, resident on the Leopold estate who won £50 Waitrose voucher from a prize draw randomly picked by Mike Tyrell, CEO of THCH.
