Poplar HARCA reaches finals of the London Excellence Awards 2009
05 June 2009Poplar HARCA has reached the finals of the prestigious London Excellence Awards 2009 for its partnership approach to Community Safety.
We were short-listed from a number of private and public sector agencies. The London Excellence Awards celebrates London organisations performing to world-class excellence standards.
Our staff along with The Metropolitan Police and Tower Hamlets Council gave a final presentation about their community safety partnership approach to a panel of judges on Tuesday 2 June 09. The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 13 July.

By working closely with Tower Hamlets Council, the Metropolitan Police and other housing associations we are able to provide our residents with a more effective community safety service and make Poplar a safer place to live. Well done to all involved”
Poplar HARCA’s Tenancy Enforcement Team and Community Safety manager were winners of Tower Hamlet’s first Community Safety Awards in January 2009.
