Join us on a run (or walk) for Spotlight Youth Centre
A unique place to be inspired and motivated to learn

- One in five young people in Tower Hamlets live in low-income households

- One third of Tower hamlets are under 19

- The borough has the highest rate of child poverty

- One in four live in households that have never worked

- One in five have got health problems

- 25% of young people do not feel safe in the area

We have a chance to turn this around.  Young people across Tower Hamlets are working with Poplar HARCA, Langdon Park Community School, Poplar Boys & Girls Club and Tower Hamlets Council to develop the Spotlight Youth Centre – a state of the art, three-storey facility in East London.

Be part of the journey. Together we can create a centre for all young people in Tower Hamlets - a unique place to be inspired and motivated to learn. A centre that does not belong to one estate or culture, but will provide a safe and welcoming space for all young people.

The money you raise from this run will enable us to provide a range of activities such as producing music, making films, drama productions, sports, work experience and mentoring, providing health clinics and a healthy café to chill out and relax.
