Residents give bags of great ideas to transform Chrisp Street Market
20 May 2009Poplar residents were asked their views and ideas on how to make Chrisp Street Market the perfect shopping centre on Saturday 16 May 2009.
It was a chance for Poplar HARCA residents to meet with a short-list of developers and share their ideas and aspirations for Chrisp Street Market.
The developers will shortly be proposing regeneration plans that aim to revitalise the market area into a thriving shopping centre for local people.
Residents will be involved in the selection process and will assist in choosing the successful developer. Two companies have currently been chosen with an excellent track record in retail development.
Simon Carroll Poplar HARCA’S Deputy Area Regeneration Coordinator said:
