Transforming St Paul's Way

22 July 2011
There was plenty to celebrate at William Cotton Place on St Paul’s Way, on Thursday 30 June 2011.

New homes for residents, the ongoing regeneration of St Paul’s Way and the unveiling of vibrant community art work created by local residents and artist Emily Allchurch to brighten up the development while the homes are being built.

Cranes and diggers are now on site and construction work has begun to build:

·     13  for social rent, 12 of those being family homes

·     21 homes for shared ownership

Residents joined Poplar HARCA staff, our Chair Bernadette Conroy, Lord Andrew Mawson and key partners to officially mark the start of the building work.

Poplar HARCA Chair Bernadette Conroy said, “William Cotton Place is very close to my heart.  Poplar HARCA and all our fantastic partners have worked incredibly hard to make this happen.   It's great to see work has started and much needed new homes will be ready for families to move in next year.”
