Winning awards thanks to residents
21 July 2011Poplar HARCA has won two awards lately - a London Excellence Award and the ASB action net award.
Poplar HARCA has won the innovation and creativity category of the London Excellence Awards 2011.
Feedback from the judges said,
“The judges were impressed with Poplar HARCA’s overall approach which shows them to be a leader in the field of social housing resident engagement and this is reflected in their structure and overall approach to business planning. There are a large number of ‘firsts’ of innovative examples to engage residents which support the application. The innovative and creative approach is fully embedded across the organisation and this is demonstrated by the results.“
We also won the Lemos and Crane ASB ActionNet Awards. The award recognises the work of our Housing and Tenancy Enforcement Team around a very complicated ASB issue. Congratulations to all the staff and residents involved.
