If you get behind with your rent
If you fall behind with your rent please come and talk to us. We can arrange for you to pay what you owe in affordable extra weekly amounts.
Please contact us on 0800 035 1991 and ask to speak to a rents officer. They will:
- check that you are getting the right benefits;
- give you any claim forms you may need and help you fill them in;
- explain your rent and benefits; and
- suggest the best way to manage your mone.
Together we can work out how to pay off what you owe. We will always try to help people get out of rent debt.
But we will take swift legal action against anyone who refuses to clear their debt.
