Poplar Union is a new arts and community centre at the heart of Poplar. Situated between the Limehouse Cut and Bartlett Park, Poplar Union provides a communal, social and creative space that’s accessible to all. It will offer shows and workshops including children’s entertainment, live performances in music, theatre and comedy, art exhibitions, waterside activities, health and wellbeing classes and much more. Tickets and full listings are available on their website.
Their doors are now open so pop in and say hello. As a work in progress, there is opportunity for the community to get involved to help create the space; from donating a book to their library, signing up to volunteer, attending their regular resident meetings, or participating in their building and printing workshops.
For more details on their programme and ways you can get involved, visit their website.
