Love London Working                                                         

Looking to get into work but not sure how? Then Love London Working could be for you. 

Love London Working is an exciting new training and employment programme to help unemployed people over the age of 16 into work. No matter how long you’ve been out of a job or what barriers to work you may be facing, such as health, disability or single parenthood, our team can assist you.

With Love London Working we’ll support you all the way from offering training opportunities to financial support through to developing key skills like IT and work related training. We also offer individual support with job applications, CV writing and interview practice. Plus, we have a wide variety of jobs and work placements ready for you to apply to across London.

Love London Working is a three -year London-wide programme led by Affinity Sutton, in partnership with 15 housing associations. However, you don’t need to be a resident to take part. So, with a dedicated team ready to help you take those first steps to get back to work, what’s stopping you?

East End Community Foundation (EECF)

Through the funding from EECF, we will deliver employment and training support to young people wanting to pursue a career in Arts, health and construction.

 

Talent Match

Talent Match London is a partnership of organisations testing innovative youth-led solutions to unemployment & sharing learning for social impact.

Since January 2014 Talent Match London has been working with 18-24 year olds who have been out of employment or training for at least a year, and who face significant barriers to employment, with a particular emphasis on those who do not access formal support through the benefits system.

Through a distinctive ‘youth work’ approach to employability, Talent Match London aims not only to get young people into jobs, but also to equip them with the skills, capabilities and desire to navigate a fulfilling career pathway. Talent Match London

We work closely with local employers, both large and small, to help them recruit local people.

The employers we work with offer a mixture of work experience, apprenticeships and job opportunities.  We also work together to develop bespoke recruitment and training programmes.

 

Barts Health NHS Trust are the largest NHS Trust in the UK, employing approximately 15,000 people across five local hospitals: Mile End Hospital, The Royal London Hospital, Newham University Hospital, St Bartholomew’s Hospital and Whipps Cross University Hospital.

Our partnership offers a bespoke two-week training programme . Successful candidates become part of Barts’ Talent Pool and have exclusive access to entry level vacancies, with a particular focus on Admin and Health Care Assistant jobs. We also support Barts Health with the delivery of their apprenticeship programme.

Broadgate Estates manage iconic London properties at Broadgate and some of the UK’s most prestigious developments, such as Central St Giles, Liverpool ONE, More London, Paternoster Square and Regent’s Palace. We are currently working with East London Business Alliance to explore how we can support Broadgate Estates to recruit more local people.

 

Construction Our construction partners have targets for local recruitment and we support them with recruitment and training programmes for different roles, including apprenticeship roles. We are currently working with Wilmot Dixon and Countryside Properties as the two main contractors building homes for Poplar HARCA. 

 

Divento Financials are an independent financial futures trading company specialising in the training and management of proprietary traders. We are working closely with the Divento Academy to increase the number of people choosing and entering professions within the financial sector.

 

Tower Hamlets Employment Service (formerly known as Skills Match) We partner with the service in their delivery of bespoke programmes such as Women in Health and Working Start programme.  They are also a good source for referrals for clients who can be supported into some of the training and employment opportunities available through them.

 

Community Links are the lead partner with us on the Talent Match programme.  We work collaboratively with Community Links to jointly address youth unemployment focusing on those further from the labour market.

 

Affinity Sutton are the lead housing association for the Love London working project.  We work with them to explore cross London opportunities for our local residents.
