The government is calling for social housing residents to share their experience as part of a review to drive up housing standards.
The Social Housing White Paper Professionalisation Review is a crucial step in making sure housing staff are trained to support residents and listen to their concerns. It aims to better protect residents and will explore individuals’ experience dealing with social housing staff.
Residents will also be asked to suggest what changes they would like to see.
Landlords, residents and other interested parties can contribute to the review by emailing Professionalisationreview@communities.gov.uk.
This review follows the publication of the government’s Social Housing White Paper which sets out how the government will make sure residents in social housing are safe, listened to, live in good quality homes, and have access to redress when things go wrong.
