Throughout the year we'll be hosting a range of community events with lots of family entertainment and we are always looking for support. Next Up: St Pauls' Way Festival: Saturday 23rd June

We're looking for energetic, smiley and friendly people who want to help make our events a great success. Our events are free to attend and will play host to a variety of family activities and usually include, street food, cookery, art & crafts stalls, children activities, live music and performances from talented young people and community members alike! 

 

Next up: St Paul's Way Festival / Saturday 23rd June / 9am - 1pm  OR 1pm - 5pm

Tasks on the day

  • Greeting guests and help to ensute they have a lovely time
  • Stewarding
  • Assisting with event set up in the morning OR break down in the afternoon
  • Help to keep the festival area tidy with some litter picking duties
  • General signposting to toilets, cafe etc
  • Leading children's activities
  • Help to ensure the play are if safe and tidy for children to enjoy

 

Suitable for friendly and approachable volunteers with great communication skills and teamwork skills. There are some physical activities required by volunteers, if you are unable to do lifting but would still like to volunteer stewarding etc please apply!

All volunteers will receive travel reimbursement (on production of vaid receipt) and lunch will be provided for volunteers. We can provide references for future events work on request. Please note the event is outdoors so please make sure you dress in clothes appropriate for the weather on the day. It is recommended you bring a waterproof jacket, suncream and wear comfortable shoes as you will be on your feet for most of the event.
