More than ever before, the pandemic has highlighted the importance of physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The practice of yoga is one of the most powerful ways to enhance holistic wellbeing.
Yoga is about the union of the body with the mind and the breath through postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), knowledge and wisdom, as well as meditation. Stretching, twisting, and balancing is undoubtedly beneficial and makes the body stronger, healthier, and more vibrant.
As part of our continued celebrations for Volunteers Weeks (1-7 June) and all our residents who volunteer, we are delighted to bring you Yoga. St Pauls Way Centre is last session of a yoga programme touring each of our community centres. Join us in inhaling the future and exhaling the past.
