L2 Spectator Safety

When you complete this course, you’ll earn:

• First Aid at Work qualification
• Highfields L2 Certificate in Spectator Safety

The full course is free.

What you’ll learn

You will cover topics such as:

• preparing for spectator events
• assisting with the movement of spectators
• dealing with crowd issues at events
• managing and resolving conflicts
• dealing with incidents at spectator events
• supporting the work of the team and organisation.

Eligibility criteria

To join, you must:

• be 18-24 years old
• live in Tower Hamlets
• have the right to live and work in the UK
• not be on a student or care visa
• not be in education or training
• be unemployed and not on benefits
• provide the correct ID documents: 1 from group A and 2 from group B (see details here)
• be physically fit enough to complete the training and work in the industry
• provide documents if you’ve had mental health issues involving compulsory detention or other measures in the last five years (we can help explain what’s needed)
• pass a criminal records check (you can check eligibility with the SIA’s criminal record indicator)
