Poplar HARCA is an award winning Housing and Regeneration Community Association in East London. We focus on providing homes and support to residents old and new; helping to create a place where people, communities and businesses grow and thrive.
The volunteer will be carrying out a research project which helps to establish the following:
How has the recent pandemic shaped people’s perception on re-engaging in social and health/wellbeing related activities based in the community
What type of activity and format (i.e. digital or otherwise) would people find most comfortable in participating in now, as the lockdown has eased, and when restrictions are stricter.
It will involve consult/community needs survey, we want to establish a direction on how to shape delivery for the partners who are part of the Well One health and wellbeing partnership.
We are looking recruiting for a Community Health Researcher Volunteer under the Well One Service who will carry out the following tasks:
Create a survey which will be distributed via CDW Newsletter and alternative sources
Conduct face to face surveys
Work with Centre delivery teams to collect responses
Write a report based on findings and include recommendations
This role is remote working with some face to face engagement during the consultation phase.
Confident speaker with good written English and data manipulation (desirable).
Understanding of qualitative and quantitative data
Confident in using Microsoft Office
Interest in Community Development
To volunteer adhering to Poplar HARCA’s policies and procedures
Monday – Friday
10 hours per week
