What we will do

We will investigate your complaints impartially and confidentially.  

We will regularly review your case and keep you updated on progress. We will only take action that you have agreed with once an investigation has taken place.

Legal enforcement will be used as a last resort when other strategies have failed; or if the behaviour is serious enough to justify immediate use.

We take all reports of domestic abuse seriously and have a specialist worker who can support you through this difficult time. We wil work with other services such as Victim support and the Police to get you the help and support you need to enable you to live a life free from abuse and violence.

We work with the Police, London Fire Brigade, Tower Hamlets Council and any other statutory or third sector agency to tackle ASB.

What we won’t do

If the complaint is about something which, even if proven, would not constitute a breach of a tenancy or lease it will not be investigated.

We will not investigate crime or criminal activity. We will co-operate with the Police as requested by them. Anyone reporting a crime or potentially criminal activity will be advised to contact the Police.

Install CCTV at a resident’s request or download/provide footage to any resident who asks for it. We will only provide this to Police at their request.
