Getting savvy on smart home devices

15/09/2022

We’ve been working with technology company Aico to offer to fit free smart home devices in your homes.

These small appliances can help you live a healthier life in a more energy efficient home, and may gradually help save money on bills.

The package of devices we are installing includes linked smoke, heat and carbon monoxide detectors that can help improve the health and safety of your home by allowing you to monitor humidity levels to reduce condensation and mould, receive tailored advice on issues like ventilation, and be alerted to potential emergencies.

We recently took this brand-new tech on the road, setting up an info bus outside Norwich House. Residents could drop-in all day to find out more about how the devices work with our experts.

If you’re interested in finding out more about smart home devices, we have created an online resource called Creating Smart Homes to get you started. You can also get in touch with a member of our team to find out how to get a device installed in your home.
