Our St Pauls Way Nursery provides access to affordable childcare and early years education for children aged 2-5 years.

Since opening in 2020, the nursery has delivered a rich learning and play environment, empowering children to be happy and confident.

We’re proud of our progress and that of our children, as our experienced staff ensure that the best possible care, guidance, and support is received throughout their educational journey with us.

Our opening hours

We’re open for 38 weeks in the year, with breaks following the academic term times, from Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm.
Our session options for family are:

  • Full day from 9.00 am-3.00 pm
  • Morning session from 8.30-11.30 am
  • Afternoon session from 12.30-3.30 pm

Fees and funding

Our nursery is registered to receive early years funding for eligible 3 and 4-year-olds for up to 15 or 30 hours per week. We also take eligible children aged 2 years.

For non-funding eligible children our rate ares:

  • £100 for 15 hours per week across five days
  • £200 for 30 hours per week

We understand covering the cost of childcare isn’t always easy, especially in the current financial climate. How do I register my child?

By completing a registration form in person at our St Paul’s Way centre.

How soon can my child start?

As soon as place is available.

Can I pre-register my child before their eligible age?

We operate a waiting list so that families can register their children prior to their children becoming eligible.

Is there a cap on how many funded children you can take?

No, we operate a first come first serve policy whether your child accesses funding or pays fee’s.

How long is the waiting list?

This depends on the time of year, but generally it is about a term.

What is the curriculum like?

Our approach to your child’s development starts with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and goes way further to help your child make the most of their time at nursery and prepare them for the journey ahead.

We offer a range of different activities throughout the setting which focus on the prime areas of learning (personal, social and emotional development, physical development and communication and language development) and the specific area of learning (literacy, mathematics, understanding the world and expressive arts and design). We operate a free flow system where children can assess the activities throughout the session in both our indoor and outdoor space.

What do our fees cover?

Our nursery fees cover all tuition, nappies and most trips. A small charge may be needed for trips depending on where we are going.

Do you provide lunch?

No we do not have the facilities to offer lunch, but we ask parents to provide a healthy packed lunch for children who have a full time place. However, children are offered a healthy snack in the morning and afternoon.

How will I be able to monitor my child's progress?

You will receive regular updates from your child’s key person and we have termly parent/key worker sessions to discuss children progress and the areas we will be supporting the following term.
