Energy Ombudsman: Heat Networks
As a Heat Network supplier, we're registered with the Energy Ombudsman, an Ofgem approved regulator for UK gas and electricity.
The Energy Ombudsman independently handles disputes between consumers and energy suppliers.
What is a Heat Network?
A heat network (sometimes called communal or district heating) is a centralised system that provides heating and hot water to multiple homes. Instead of each home having its own boiler, heat is generated in a plant room and distributed through insulated pipes.
We manage the energy supply for your building directly. As the owners of the plant rooms, we purchase gas in bulk from energy providers and supply it to residents—so there’s no need to switch suppliers.
If your home has a heat meter installed, we partner with trusted billing agents—Ista and Sycous—to handle billing and collect payments for your Heat Network usage on our behalf.
