Employment support

The Hive team provides one-to-one employment support to help the local community find jobs.

We support around 250 local residents into jobs every year.

We do this by:

  • Exploring different career options
  • Creating CVs
  • Providing support with job search and job applications
  • Finding work experience, volunteering and networking opportunities
  • Providing support with interview techniques and mock interviews

We pride ourselves on helping people overcome gaps in their employment, working through multiple barriers to secure sustainable and meaningful jobs.

To be eligible for employment support, you must be:

• Unemployed, or a Poplar HARCA resident

• A Tower Hamlets resident

• Over 18

• Not enrolled in a Restart programme with the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP)
