Tea room and art gallery by day, pub by night, The Tommy Flowers has become a much-loved social hub for the whole community, long-term and new residents alike.

The Tommy Flowers, East London’s first community pub, was set up by Aberfeldy Big Local and local artist collective Fitzrovia Noir, with support from Accents.

A former florist, and before that a GP surgery, it now hosts a strong arts, cultural and heritage programme for local residents.

The pub opened in Summer 2018 and is located at 50 Aberfeldy Street, E14 0NU.

"I’ve lived here all my life and know a lot of people. But I’d lost contact with people as we didn’t have a common place to socialise. Now I meet up with old friends every Friday and it’s great to reconnect with them again. We have a lot of lost time to make up and chat."
