Go-getting local community group, Fit and Feisty, have made access to the Teviot Centre safer and easier for everyone.
The group are behind a new drop kerb, road markings and new parking restrictions which have improved public access to the centre.
The new drop kerb means wheelchair and mobility scooter users and those with pushchairs now have a quicker, safer route. New sloping from the pavement to the road means people no longer need to step off the kerb to enter the Teviot Centre. Road markings and new parking restrictions prioritises the space at the front of the centre for those who need it.
