Description of tasks
- You will need to set up your own equipment, ensuring that you can clean up efficiently between appointments
- Have open communication during sessions so that expectations are met
- Feedback to centre staff about how sessions are going
We are looking for a friendly, inviting and committed massage therapist volunteer who:
- Has Public Liability Insurance
- Holds a massage therapy qualification.
- Is a member of a professional body (desirable)
- Has good communication and speaking skills
- Time efficient
- Be responsible and follow Poplar HARCA health & safety guidelines
All volunteers are required to complete an application form, attend an informal interview and give two referee’s details. You may also be required to undertake a criminal record check which we will pay for. If successful your volunteer role will begin with a 1 month trial period.
