Afterschool Club Volunteer
Margaret volunteered as our Afterschool Club lead at Bow Community Hub. The children loved to explore their creativity through all the imaginative ideas she brought with her. They made jam using locally sourced berries, created Christmas lanterns for our community events and learnt to make delicious fajitas.
Margaret volunteered to lead our Afterschool Club volunteer at Bow Community Hub every Thursday.
She says she loved helping with activities like jam making and painting – or even just listening to the kids talk about their day at school.
While she doesn’t volunteer with us anymore, she says she’d happily do it again, rating her time with us a “10 – I would love to volunteer again in the future for a similar role!”
