We’re proud to share this year’s Residents’ Annual Report, highlighting everything we’ve achieved together in 2024–25. At Poplar HARCA, our mission is simple: creating opportunities together. That means working hand-in-hand with residents to make our neighbourhoods safer, stronger, and more connected, so that everyone has the chance to thrive.
A Year of Progress
Over the past year, we’ve:
- Built 290 new homes, helping more families into affordable housing.

Introduced Property MOTs and installed smart home devices to keep homes safe, energy efficient, and healthy.

Worked alongside hundreds of residents who shaped our services through feedback, reviews, and listening campaigns.
- Achieved the top C1 grade against the Regulator of Social Housing’s new Consumer Standards

Engaged over 34,000 people through events, youth programmes, health initiatives, and volunteering.

Invested £6.8 million in community services and generated £16.3 million in social value
Listening, Acting, Improving
Your voice matters. This year, 82% of residents told us they’re satisfied with our services, and we’re determined to keep raising the bar. From tackling damp and mould with our new Healthy Homes programme, to creating safer estates through Parkguard patrols and a resident-led ASB panels, your feedback has shaped real change.
Supporting Our Community
In a challenging year, our community hubs supported over 2,000 families, offering vital advice on debt, welfare, and wellbeing. We also launched new initiatives, from parcel lockers to DIY workshops, making everyday life easier.
Looking Ahead
While we’re proud of what we’ve achieved, we know there’s more to do. Our focus for 2025–26 includes:

Carrying out audits and full home inspections to ensure high standards.

Expanding opportunities for training, employment, and youth engagement.
