Let’s talk community safety

29/06/2026

Your safety at home and in your neighbourhood matters to us. That’s why we’re taking part in Antisocial Behaviour Awareness Week (29 June-5 July) – sharing clear information, support, and simple ways to report concerns in your community.

What is antisocial behaviour?

Antisocial behaviour (or ASB) is behaviour that causes nuisance, alarm or distress, and can make you feel upset, unsafe or uncomfortable in your area.

It could be loud noise that keeps you up at night, vandalism, harassment, public drinking, or other activities that disrupt the peace.

If something doesn’t feel right, it’s okay to speak up.

We’re here to help

Our Community Safety team is here to listen and support you. Whether you’re experiencing antisocial behaviour, are worried about your safety or wellbeing, or are concerned about someone else, we’ll work with you and our partners to:

  • Understand what’s happening
  • Agree the right next steps
  • Take action where needed
  • Support you through the process

Every situation is different, so our Community Safety Officers will take the time to understand your circumstances and find the right solution. Their focus is on helping you feel safe in your home and community.
