Are you 18-24 years old, living in Tower Hamlets, unemployed and not in education? Then this qualification will help you gain the skills needed to keep colleagues and customers safe within the workplace!
On this course you will complete:
- Highfields Level 2 Award in Health and Safety within the Workplace
The full course is free.
This is a one day course.

What you’ll learn
You will cover topics such as:
- an understanding in the responsibilities of employers and employees
- the benefits of good health and safety
- steps to a risk assessment and how they can reduce accidents
- near misses and ill-health
- typical hazards and controls in a workplace
- common causes of accidents, near misses and ill-health
- emergency procedures
- the importance of recording accidents, near misses and ill-health
Eligibility criteria
To join, you must:
- be 18-24 years old
- live in Tower Hamlets
- have the right to live and work in the UK
- not be in education or training
- be unemployed (including NOT working on a zero hours contract)
