Tower Hamlets Council waste service strike

Tower Hamlets Council has confirmed the waste strike has ended after reaching a deal with Unite the Union.

Council waste service workers and street cleaners return to work on Wednesday 27 September 2023.

Our estate teams will continue to keep your bin areas tidy by containing the waste build up in large sacks, until it is collected.
