Danny Hassell
Danny is a local (shared ownership) resident and works in governance and policy in higher education.
Danny brings experience of governance, policy and regulatory compliance form various roles across local government, housing and education. Having worked for universities for the last 9 years, he currently works as Policy and Governance Lead at Queen Mary University of London.
Danny was previously an elected councillor in Tower Hamlets and served as both the Cabinet Member for Housing and Cabinet Member for Children, Schools and Young People. He is also the Chair of Governors at two local schools.
As someone who grew up in social housing, Danny is committed to ensuring good quality housing services for residents and creating opportunities in our local area.
