Governance

Peter brings a wealth of experience in community development, poverty alleviation and homelessness. He has served as chief executive of third sector organisations, most recently at a poverty alleviation charity in South London. His first career was in print and online journalism around the UK and he went to work for in Westminster as an aide to a shadow Chancellor and shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury. He enjoyed living in Tower Hamlets (Bow and the Isle of Dogs) for many years and fulfilled volunteer roles at central and east London charities, including Bow Foodbank. He brings a mix of frontline experience, leadership and local insight.
