Healthcare Horizons

We run this training programme in partnership with Barts Health NHS.

You’ll take part in two weeks of training, including an accredited L2 in Mental Health First Aid and training on getting a job in the NHS.

On this course you will cover topics such as:

Exploring Mental Health
Understanding How to Support Individuals with Mental Ill Health
Understanding a Mentally Healthy Environment
NHS values
Interview prep
Writing supporting statements
NHS recruitment processes

After completing your training, you will get priority access to apprenticeships within the NHS.

You must:

Be 16-29 years old
Be a resident of either: Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney or Waltham Forest
Have good GCSE/L2 grades, including Maths and English

The programme is currently being run online.
