Electrical Goods Repairer (for Repair Café)

A Repair Café is a community project where members of the public can bring in a broken item to be repaired for free by a skilled and experienced volunteer.

We are running a Repair Café to help support our residents within the local community. By attending a Repair Café they can reduce costs/spending on buying new products or paying for a repair job.

Repair Cafes also have a positive impact as they might save an item which has an easy fix from ending up in landfill. This reduces textile/electronic wastage, two industries known for their devasting effects on our environment.

It also facilitates valuable skill-sharing, empowering individuals with practical mending knowledge and strengthening community bonds.
