Volunteer Events Assistant
As a Volunteer One-off Events Assistant, you will be part of the HARCA Community Development team and have the opportunity to experience first-hand what goes into managing and running an event. This would be a particularly beneficial opportunity for anyone wishing to enter hospitality, event or venue management.

Description of Tasks
- Supporting set up and close of the event
- Facilitating activities on the day
- Working with residents and other professionals
- Welcoming, meeting and talking to people of all ages and backgrounds
- Managing stations of activities
- Tasks will vary widely on the day but will include everything from administration, managing crowds, health & safety checks and hands-on-help to set up and take down events.
- Assist in ensuring events are run smoothly and clients have everything they need
- To fulfil any other duties considered reasonable as directed by the staff team
- All volunteers are required to contribute positively to providing a safe, creative, inspiring and fun environment to meet the need of those attending a HARCA event
