Join the antisocial behaviour resident panel

10/06/2024

Are you interested in helping us improve how we manage antisocial behaviour cases? We’re looking for six dedicated residents to join our new antisocial behaviour resident panel.

Update: As of Friday 28 June 20024, applications for the antisocial behaviour panel are closed.

As a panel member, you will:

  • review how we handle antisocial behaviour cases
  • observe our team in action
  • meet key service providers such as the Police, London Borough of Tower Hamlets’ Community Safety team, and other professionals
  • learn about the impact of having an in-house legal professional
  • see how we use CCTV and share your views on how we solve conflict

We welcome tenants, resident leaseholders, and household members aged 16 and above. We want to ensure that everyone’s voice is heard. You’ll need to commit to one weekday evening and/or Saturday morning for a minimum of 12 weeks. You will be paid for this role.

What would you have gained from being on the antisocial behaviour resident panel?

By the end of the process, you’ll have helped us produce our new antisocial behaviour policy.

You will also have:

  • gained valuable insight into how community safety works
  • developed skills in communication and teamwork
  • networked with professionals in different services
  • had a direct impact on improving policies and how things are ran

If you can commit the time and want to influence how things are done at Poplar HARCA, we’d love to hear from you.

I want to apply, what do I need to do?

To apply, we need your:

  • name
  • full address
  • date of birth

Please also answer the following question in 300 words or less:
