Christmas comes early for Poplar HARCA’s elderly residents and dedicated volunteers
Every year, Poplar HARCA puts on a Christmas Lunch event for elderly residents with a Christmas dinner, musical performances and the infamous raffle. Due to Covid-19 restrictions the event couldn’t go ahead this year, so instead Poplar HARCA staff and dedicated volunteers brought Christmas cheer to elders’ doors on Thursday 17th December.

Aberfeldy residents launch two new businesses in the area
Leon Herbert was born and raised in Poplar, and has lived in the Aberfeldy area since the age of 14. In his adult years he’s lived in a few other places, but told us “something always pulls me back”. He and childhood friend Joshua Martin have recently opened two new exciting businesses in the area.
